Night Diving with Majestic Manta Rays

Slip into the undersea world after the sun goes down and watch as the reef activity shifts to the nocturnal predators and wait for Manta Rays to come in and feed. Diving with Manta Rays, like swimming with Dolphins or whales (a very rare experience) will give you a larger sense of the ocean and and the fragile world we live in.

Being surrounded by any size group of Manta Rays is truly a sight to behold. There are several dive operators that offer Manta Ray dives on the Big Island of Hawaii. Most of the Manta dives are two tank dives with the first dive acting as an orientation dive before the sun goes down and the second dive is when the action happens. The Manta dive costs around $130 for a two tank dive.

Snorkelers can also see the Mantas from the surface, so the Manta Dive might be of interest to adventurous non-diving family and friends.

Check out the Manta Ray dive packages offered by Jack's Diving Locker and also Kona Honu Divers.
