Morgan's Rock Hacienda & Ecolodge

Morgan's Rock Hacienda & Ecolodge is located on a 4,400-acre preserve in Nicaragua.

The resort offers green educational programs, protects wildlife, and was constructed in an earthy-friendly way.

Guest room furniture and the pathways around the resort were made locally using recycled wood.

The resort was constructed around the existing trees, literally, since several cabins have trees growing through the ceiling.

Kids and grown-ups alike get to learn about the environment hands-on at Morgan’s Rock.

"The Magic of Reforestation" tour, for example, lets you learn about different techniques used in reforestation and tree plantation while planting your own tree.

All-inclusive rates start at $177 per person per night ($116 for a child).
